Swedish Hovmästarsås

Salmon sauce

Incredibly easy to make. Hovmästarsås simply requires whisking all the ingredients together.


Dill Sweet mustard Oil Sugar White wine vinegar White pepper Salt

1. Whisk together the sweet mustard, vinegar, sugar, salt, and white pepper.


2. Slowly pour in the oil, constantly whisking until the mixture is well combined and smooth.

3. Add finely chopped fresh dill.  

4.Pour in a pitcher and serve with cured salmon. 

Delicious even on top of salmon sandwiches or with boiled potatoes.
